Inaugural Primary School Cup
What a huge weekend at Bundaberg Basketball for the Inaugural Primary School Cup!
Firstly we would like to thank all the schools, the teachers, staff and supporters that came along to cheer on the teams, the children who gave it their all the entire weekend, you all played like champions, the families that changed their weekend plans to attend and support the teams, thank you all so much.
We extend thanks to the referees that attended the competition this weekend, without you all, these carnivals are not possible. Our canteen crew, you guys are incredible, you all worked so hard, non stop to serve everyone fresh food, cold drinks and snacks for the entire weekend, that's a huge job, THANK YOU all for all you do.
Congratulations to Woongarra State School Girls team that took home the trophy for 1st place, great work to the girls and Coach Sean.
Congratulations to Bundaberg Christian College boys team placing 1st for the boys competition, great work boys and Coach Simone.
We loved seeing so many children playing Basketball for the very first time, building skills and learning resilience on the court. The sportsmanship displayed on the court by all the children was fantastic to see. So much fun was had by all.
Our Macca’s Friday night juniors competition runs on a Friday afternoon/night and our summer season has just started. If your child loved the weekend and you would like to join them up to the competition, then let us know. The registration process is all online, easy to do and we are more then happy to add you children to a team to join our community here at Bundaberg Basketball.
