Junior Ref Stars!

This Friday we welcome back onto the courts our junior referee’s.

It takes courage to step out onto the court and ref a game. To simply blow the whistle can be intimidating. We thank and congratulate our young refs, as without them we could not run the amount of games we run on a Friday night.

We appreciate every one of them, no matter what level they are at. so please remember...

• This is a game - a game we love

• These are children

• The referee's are learning just like your children

• This is not the NBL

So when you are walking around the stadium and you see any of our young refs, give them a high 5 , say thank you, praise them like you would praise your own children. We know this means a lot to our referee’s.
